For those in search of adventure, head to the lesser known wildlife parks of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Here the National Wildlife parks of Tadoba, Pench and Satpura offer a more rural and intrepid view of the Indian jungle. Tadoba provides some of the best wildlife sightings, whilst the expansive park of Pench has the new luxury Jamtara camp and Satpura carters for wildlife walks right in the heart of the sanctuary. Leaving the jungle behind, you will journey on to discover ancient cave drawings at Bhimbetka, some of the world’s oldest Buddhist monuments at Sanchi and the mythical, deserted city of Mandu. Residing at the magical Ahilya Fort perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the mighty Narmada river, you will experience sumptuous accommodation and insight into this ancient heartland of India.

Day 1: Arrive Mumbai
International flight to Mumbai. On arrival transfer to Taj Santacruz Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Mumbai – Nagpur - Tadoba
Morning transfer to Mumbai Domestic Airport for a flight to Nagpur. On arrival transfer by road to Tadoba and check-in at Svasara Lodge for a 2-night stay Tadoba – Andheri Tiger Reserves undulating topography comprises of Hills which are densely covered with mixed forests and belts of bamboo. The deep valleys, river beds, and small grassy meadows provide suitable habitat to many life forms. Afternoon enjoy a game drive in the Tadoba – Andheri Tiger Reserve
Day 3: Tadoba

Day 4: Tadoba – Pench
Morning transfer by road to Pench (approximately 6 hours and 30 minutes’ drive). On arrival check-in at Jamtara Wilderness Camp for a 2-night stay Afternoon game drive at Pench national park by shared jeep
Day 5: Pench
Early morning and afternoon game drives in this scenic reserve covered in prime teak forest and grasslands of the Satpura Range.
Day 6: Pench - Satpura
Early morning game viewing at Pench National Park by shared jeep Afternoon transfer by road to Satpura (approximately 06 hours and 30 minutes’ drive). On arrival check-in at Reni Pani Jungle Lodge for a 2-night stay Satpura National Park covers an area of 524 km (202 sq m) and provides a unique central Indian highland ecosystem. The terrain of the national park is extremely rugged and consists of sandstone peaks, narrow gorges, ravines and dense forests.
Day 7: Satpura
Early morning and afternoon game viewings at Satpura National Park by shared jeep
Day 8: Satpura – Bhimbetka – Bhopal
Morning transfer by road to Bhopal and en-route visit Bhimbetka the site of south Asia’s richest collection of prehistoric cave paintings. (approximately 06 hours and 30 minutes’ drive including stop) On arrival in Bhopal check-in at Jehan Numa Palace Hotel Evening at leisure.
Day 9: Bhopal – Sanchi – Bhopal
Morning excursion to Sanchi one of the world’s most important centers of Buddhist art. The place attracts Buddhists from all over world, and is associated with Emperor Ashoka, who abandoned war and violence to follow and preach Buddhism. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 10: Bhopal – Maheshwar
Morning enjoy the sightseeing tour of Bhopal city. Later transfer by road to Maheshwar famous as the place ruled by the legendary queen, Maharani Ahilya Bai, the ruler of Holkar dynasty. (approximately 04 hours and 30 minutes’ drive). On arrival, check-in to Ahilya Fort Evening enjoy a boat cruise to view Baneshwar temple situated in the middle of the river which according to ancient Hindu texts, is the centre of the universe: followed by some tea / coffee and view of the sunset.
Day 11: Maheshwar – Mandu – Maheshwar
A full day exploring the fortress town of Mandu, replete with palaces, mosques, canals and cenotaphs. Enjoy a picnic lunch (at additional cost) with beverages specially organised for you in the beautiful settings of Mandu ruins or option to return to hotel for lunch.
Day 12: Maheshwar – Indore – Delhi
Morning sightseeing tour of Maheshwar including a visit to The Archaeological museum Later transfer by road to Indore Airport (approximately 02 hours and 30 minutes) for flight to Delhi On arrival, transfer to JW Marriott Aerocity Hotel for few hours Later transfer to Delhi international airport for your onward flight
Day 13: Depart Delhi
Early morning flight for onward destination.
